rawstory.com— For one-time political icon Joe Wurzelbacher, reminders of his old campaign buddy Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) aren't exactly pleasant. ... Some grapes turn more sour than others, it seems.

"did McCain ask him for permission to talk about him during the debate? Because after that, there was no stopping it."No, Senator McCain did not ask for his permission, he should have, but Mr. Wurzelbacher shouldn't have gone out on tour with him, if he was so offended.
He was working illegally as a plumber. No one cared until McCain used him to attack Obama in the debate. The massive campaign to destroy his life began the next day.And so he tried to make the most of the situation. As you said, that's fine.As for defending him, well, I'm not a fan, and I don't think he's very bright or well-informed. And I voted for Obama. But I do remember the vicious attack campaign against him that began because he voiced his opinion. I just think it's absurd and irrational that people have more anger towards him than towards any serial killer or child rapist.
