dailykos.com — Bottom-line: it's not entirely clear what the real story of Joe The Plumber is. But it is entirely clear that he's not just some undecided voter. He supports McCain, and the McCain campaign sure seems to support him.

I wonder if Joe regrets the day he ever asked those questions of Barack Obama? He probably has reporters camped out in his driveway now, and like Sarah Palin, can see them from his house!

I can't see picking this guy as a plant. "Go up to the camera, ask Obama a question, and lie about your situation and your business plans. Don't worry about lying, or about your unpaid taxes or lack of plumber's license. No-one ever looks into these things." Even the McCain campaign isn't that dumb.I think he's a pretty articulate guy who listens to a lot of talk radio. He had the spiel down, so he went and asked Obama a question. He saw the response as "tap dancing" because he doesn't really have an overview of the issue, he just has the lines he gets from Limbaugh or wherever. He couldn't process what Obama was trying to explain to him. And he hadn't thought it through because there was no way he was going to buy a business with net revenue of over $250,000.So of course all the conservative shows and the McCain campaign love him. He put the talking points to Obama's face. He got a bit of buzz, and some McCain writer thought he'd be a good example to use. It's a way to get back to the economy after all these failed conspiracy theories they've been running. But they didn't have time to check him out.Not everything is a plot. It seems much more likely to me that a Limbaugh listener would go up to Obama and hassle him than that the McCain team would go coach this guy from the area then plant him on the neighborhood as soon as they heard Obama was walking down the street with a camera crew.Anyway, here's a fact check on the actual issue of the tax rates.http://money.cnn.com/2008/10/15/smallbusiness/smal ...

"Joe the plumber" did not specify his political position! Watch it yourself.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUvwKVvp3-oAnd besides, why does his position matter? Don't you think people need to know the real answers and to see that a Socialist is about 1 million ACORN votes from becoming our President?

Wow, you want to take us back to the early 1800's? OK so let's only let whites vote (pre-15th amendment) Let's also not elect our US Senators, allow the legislature (pre-17th amendment) We may as well keep women out too (pre-19th amendment) Perhaps native Americans and Irish-Catholics bother you? We'll keep them out too as was also common in that time. Voters in DC? Nah, they don't need to vote, that's not really a state. We might need to reinstate the literacy test to keep even more people out. You know what? Maybe we should just let you decide for the rest of us?

CLASSIC Liberal misdirection! It's not about Joe! It has NOTHING to do with Joe! It's about nothing other than Obama admitting his Socialist intentions!"I think it's best to spread the wealth around".Straight out of the Marxist Playbook!Stuff it, Obamunists! How many wars have we fought against this kind of tyranny? And now you want to elect it?!!Bring it!

To a Republican... anyone digging up and telling the truth is using misdirection! Best for them... to let Sleeping Joes lie. (No misspelling there - it was intentional).
