...and JCVD ends up being a genuinely awesome f**king movie. I remember reading this story a few months back and laughing about it with the rest of the snobby commentators, but after seeing JCVD, I was so proven wrong. Not only was the movie entertaining, but Van Damme had a great performance in it. One of the top movies of the year, definitely liked it better than some movies the Oscars were pushing down our throats...
