I'm just saying Flash is much better for stuff like this. Of course you could use a memory editor to hack some stuff in Flash, even a little obfuscation in Flash can easily prevent cheating.
Its great to see so many people trying out the javascript games. I need to respond to some comments. The reason the message pops up if you use Firefox is because early versions of Firefox had a bug in its rendering engine. This caused dhtml animation to run very very slowly. They have fixed the bug from 2.0, so it runs fine in FF now. I have ported most of my JS games to Flash AS3 and detect no speed difference between Flash and Javascript. In fact, some of my JS games are 7 years old, and they ran fine on PCs way back then, so they definitely run at a good speed with current PCs. The engine is robust and it will work on all browsers except Opera. Its quite cool when you think about it. Even though the engine is a few years old, it still works. That's the beauty of web standards. I recommend trying to code a game in Javascript. Its a challenge, and that's why its such a cool thing to do. The main game page on my site contains the new Flash ports, but all the original JS versions can be played at: <a class="user" href="http://www.def-logic.com/_dhtml">http://www.def-logic.com/_dhtml</a>
Opera is the only browser they won't work in. But it has always had limited JS support. The only reason the alert pops up in Firefox is because of a rendering bug in early versions of the browser that caused dhtml animation to run slow. This has been fixed in current versions. Interestingly, they used my games at <a class="user" href="http://www.def-logic.com/_dhtml">http://www.def-logic.com/_dhtml</a> as test cases to get it working :)
