Seems to be an entirely new file system is fairly major.And why complain about new GUI? The days of doing everything in a terminal just because you can are over. If a GUI can do something faster, I do it. It doesn't make you an elite operator because you use terminal, it makes you someone with too much time.

thats the point of public beta software - it is for testing purposes. dhughes will report the bugs and hopefully none of us will get that experience when the release comes out

Ubuntu has an easy way to try it out and dual boot windows that does not repartition your hard drive or install a boot loader. (Read: Not dangerous) It is called WUbI, and all you have to do to install it is download WUbI and run it like any other Windows based installer.
