From an outside perspective this place looks awesome. "They don?t do design docs and functional specs ?artifacts?" "4-day work weeks and pay for the hobbies they are interested in"... not to mention they are in Chicago :)
Even though Kevin Rose Tweeted this, I say I have to disagree with allot of the points.Don't do big projects? Or no interruptions?, I'm in IT its my job to prevent and deal with problems in systems.However I will say that the outlook is admirable, but I think it is practical for people who retain control of a development of a new company and not an existing one due to dinosaur board members in most organizations.And forget about employee's themselves making these changes when the have no position of power within the company.
