time-blog.com — Brace yourself. James Cameron, the man who brought you 'The Titanic' is back with another blockbuster. This time, the ship he's sinking is Christianity. In a new documentary, Producer Cameron makes the starting claim that Jesus wasn't resurrected --the cornerstone of Christian faith-- in his new documentary.

@ins0mniac,Thank you as well for a literate, educated response. And for your attending seminary. I was raised Catholic, and have certainly met many people that regardless of the various inadaquacies of the institutions of the various religions and sects where obviously solid people out to give a helping hand. In your case doing this so much later in life probably doubly so. Thus I thank you for your efforts. I will be contacting you.I personally kinda reversed your course both professionally and theologically. Just not as successfully in either way. I studied Biochemistry as an undergrad. Then a stint in Medical Research. Followed by 10 years in the Petrochemical industry. While there I married, and had two kids. And followed the strictures of the church relatively closely. Then I divorced. Lost my job. Got an MCSE+Internet and an MCT. Taught in College and schools. Worked as an NT Admin for a few years. Fell into deep depression. Attempted suicide. Fell into the outs of the graces of my family. Resorted to the help of the Church. Which was sadly non-existant (When I asked for help while homeless on the street in Feb. last year they offered me a sack full of canned goods and showed me the door). Called 911 cause I was freezing to death and could not walk anymore from arthritis, and was taken to a Catholic ER. Where I was diagnosed with Trenchfoot, and then shown the door. No shelters to goto. Got assaulted by my Ex's then husband and brother (she's now divorced for the 3rd time). So I called 911 again and committed myself so I could get shelter. Got out, got a cheep mobile home near my kids. Now I'm starting a consulting business, and spending every minute I can with them because THAT is why I think God has decided to put us here.So yes, I can use your viewpoint if you are interested in providing.A quick link to me: http://www.allpoetry.com/AmbicaduThanks again

Hey I got one for you James Cameron, there's no Earth, Moon, Sun, or stars either. That's what happens when you apply the same logic. You are not here and I'm not here. We are neither here nor there, we're no-where. Dude!

"The Jerusalem District archeologist who officially oversaw the work at the tomb in 1980 and has published detailed findings on its contents, dismissed the filmmaker's claims. "It makes a great story for a TV film," he told The Jerusalem Post. "But it's impossible. It's nonsense"Sourcehttp://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?c=JPArticle&cid=1171894508893&pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FShowFull

@stonewallI'm not an Athiest...I just don't try to use reason to prove that G-d exists. I guess you could say my definition of G-d is very loose, not as an old man in the sky that controls everyone's lives, but as a personificaiton for the laws of nature and forces in the universe that hold everything together.
