appleinsider.com — Canadian wireless carrier Rogers Wireless said Tuesday it has reached an agreement with Apple to begin offering the iPhone later this year. "We're thrilled to announce that we have a deal with Apple to bring the iPhone to Canada later this year," the carrier said in a statement. "We can't tell you any more about it right now, but stay tuned."

Rogers sucks ass... and I'm with them. There's just not much choice. Canada has the worst cell phone services, television services, phone services... We're over-taxed, and our health care is a piece of ass.. sorry. Hearing about Rogers just sets me off. I want the iPhone, but unlimited data would be nice. Maybe some better customer service than what Rogers provides.

That still doesn't answer the question... why are you fervently reading iPhone posts AND commenting on them if you personally claim that you 'dont care' about the iPhone? Your 'wife' can't really bail you out of this one...

and Pay as you go is still a huge scam... you end up paying a lot more and getting a lot less.. sorry bub.

Smart Phone (sarcasm) How nice, now you have adopted the industry catch phrase. You hate me for not liking Apple products? It is sad you feel so passionately about a corporation to the point you will feel hate.Don't get me wrong any phone that costs more than the average mobile phone for whatever "smart" reason is a waste of money. If it was the price of an average phone I would own one, why not. But to spend 4-5 hundred dollars and then have to spend an additional 10-15-20$/month for data service is pure and simple waste. Why? To watch Youtube??!!! So you pay monthly to watch some stupid pet tricks and people posting home videos of themselves talking.Blackberrys, HPQ, Palm all a waste of money so people can have something to play with. These are toys for adult children. I remember when Palm pilots were hot. Everybody had to pull theirs out in the elevator and "use" it as if they cannot do the same thing when they reach their office in 1 minute. hehehe Now I do not feel so bad living in the US when I see that Canada has citizens that are just as silly with their consumption.

Malarie, do not say that. We are dealing with gadget phreaks here. They love to look important when they "jog" through their playlist while waiting for their latte at Starbucks. hehehe

I called Rogers today for a problem with my Blackberry. I asked the Data Device Tech if the iPhone coming to Canada was the current model or the 3G model and he said its 3G.
