Yeah, it has been happening to those who have a genuine copy. I'm not saying it should be easier to pirate but it shouldn't be screwing you if you have a copy that isn't "genuine" even though it is
@boot20, I think djgreedo is only expressing his personal opinion as a home user. You are absolutely correct that Vista on the enterprise has HUGE issues.
Why should an OS need a 1 gb graphics card to run well? Leopard runs fine on my Macbook with GMA 950 graphics w/ 64 mb shared vram, yes including core image effects. Something is just coded wrong with Vista's graphics engine, shrug.
I like Vista. But XP should always be an available theme for download,at least, because its happy and cheery and a nice Blue/Green/Silver. But meanwhile, Vista boasts a big unruly gothic black theme. It's nice, but after a while it gets a bit too... dark. (For sensative people out there: I DO NOT MEAN THIS AS A RACIST REMARK, AS I AM AGAINST RACISM!)
