Don't you understand that government regulation and involvement in business is exactly why we have these situations? Businesses bribe politicians because they can get something out of them. Remove the government from business and the market (the people) controls business.
You would think that they would build the fence on the border of the countries, not a few miles inside it (on private property). So is the US border literally a 6" stripe? there is not some "no man's land" or something? I honestly don't know. I live in PA and have not walked across either of our borders, just flew. I know all about eminent domain (my father lost a factory to it in the 1970s). I can only assume it's that to be used like the Area 51 perimeter..... even before you hit the actual fence, you have trespassed and are a criminal. They could put some sort of sensors that trip alarms before you touch the actual fence. I do know the plan calls for huge sections of the border to get a "virtual fence" due to cost and animal migration.

I am not a Bush supporter, but here is a poll which is sharply different, claiming his support actually improved to 34% in their latest poll (Reuters/Zogby) Clearly they must be using a different methodology.http://www.reuters.com/article/domesticNews/idUSN1 ...
