I've been wondering about this.. eliminate the lowest common denominator at McDonalds and you could increase profitability by a great deal; people. You decrease the size of the restaurant by about half, speed up drive thru times due to incompetence, hell, you don't even have to pay for air conditioning for the employees (just a fan to remove excess heat; robots don't feel uncomfortable). Of course, it's a lot harder to argue with a robot if you told it no pickles and it put pickles on the burger...
