This is why you have atheism. People hate religion (as I did for many many years until recently) because "Jews", "Christians", "Muslims", etc. use it for PERSONAL GAIN. This is not the teachings of ANY TRUE SCRIPTURE! None of the religions teach this practice ... on the contrary. God does not advocate Violence. Allah teaches peace and forgiveness, hard work and dedication. Usury is a sin. Making money simply because you have money is against Allah. Believing you have the right to something and it justifies killing or harming someone physically or otherwise is against Allah's teachings ... ALL of them.Yet people justify these actions using religion. The simple fact that these people carrying out these evil acts are still alive use to make me not believe in GOD. But in fact now it is the opposite ... it is proof that Allah does exist and is all merciful ... but Allah's mercy is not infinite.@Odigity ... I agree with so much of what you said ... except for the reparations part. I too use to think like that and think Africans of this country were ill conceived to believe we needed to give them reparations. But they I researched about their history and though I myself am white, I have a black brother and got to see first hand of the differences of treatment between the two. I listened to the honorable Minister Farrakhan and heard his case. And it makes perfect sense when you understand what they went through, as the Palestinians face now, perhaps worse. And since you or I or our people have not faced the annihilation of our entire culture ... you cannot fathom what that does to the generation after that annihilation ... then the generation after that ... and after that ...So believe me, the Honorable Minister Farrakhan and his people are not asking for hand outs. His people are some of the hardest working and most dedicated people you will find. Listen to what he preaches and you will realize this. He will not allow it to be a skit from Dave Chapelle. Everyone needs to move forward and forgive each other ... but the ones doing the killing have a little more giving and helping to do then the ones who were getting killed.
