Yes, you can compare forced conversions to 'The Spanish Inquisition'. It was the same thing. However, it's not like modern Christians condoned that black mark on their religion. If you're going to defend Islamic fascism, then defend it. Don't compare it to past attrocities. That's just stupid.
Yes... it was the Christians who started the Crusades... just like Bush-43 caused Hurricane Katrina. You may want to get off of your PC horse and do a bit of reading on the subject where you will find that in fact the Crusades were in response to external incursions and aggression.
I'm with you, I would never convert because my faith is so strong. However lets take my faith out of it. I have a choice to convert or die, and I decide to convert to save my life. Now I have another decision to make I can either worship my new religion I don't agree with, also force my family to worship a religion I don't agree with, or I can denounce it because a gun was held to my head. If I choose the first then I live but I'm forced to worship a religion I don't agree with and I don't want no part of, for the rest of my life. However if I choose the second guess what? Now I have another death threat against me because I'm not allowed to stop worshiping Islam or convert to another religion. So sooner or later a radical Islamic will kill me. In fact any worshiper of Islam is suppose to do so on site. In other words I've only delayed the inevitable by choosing this path. I'm going to stick with my Christian religion because I choose to follow Jesus, I was not force at gun point to follow him. I will also stick with it because I'm strong in my faith and I won't waver.
Sounds really peaceful to me. And now they are just trying to finish what was stopped by the Christian Crusaders. Already they are working hard to reclaim lands in France and Spain. It's true though the only way were going to have peace with these fanatics is either world wide conversions to Islam, or their total defeat. I'm pulling for the latter.
