Whether or not you liked the outcome of the OOXML vote I can't see how you can object to ensuring the voting process is not gamed. Why have a vote at all if you want it to be manipulated by money? Really, 7of7, do you even know what exactly you are opposing?
ISO means nothing anymore, its credibilty is totally ruined. Besides the obvious MS corruption and stacking the votes, when ISO put a 10000 page format on Fast Track approval they headed downhill then. ECMA is in the same boat, bunch of cronnies colabarating together to get things past. They both a joke.
wow, a brilliant idea. while you're at it, why don't you GPL the GPL and copyright copyrighting!btw. i'd like to standardize these articles that talk about standardizing

I propose that in light of the recent push to standardise the process itself, it is time to standardise the process of standardising a process.
