To use a accurate but poorly placed political quote, “The fundamentals of our economy are strong”. To me this means America did not get to where it is by luck, we got here by shear effort. Perhaps this economic correction is due to the fact in recent history Americans have relied too much on the luck of a inflated housing appreciation, tech boom and easy credit. Now it’s time to get back to effort. Rest assured that Americans still know how to put forth the effort.
Luck also seems to replace something else, which is fading: Blind obedience to a Supreme Power.God must have been playing dice, after all. The proof is, that without Him, we are left with the dice! :)
