Funny, cocain and heroin were legal, long ago. Doctors used heroin as treatment, manufaturing companies used cocain in food products.

DUMB! Why do people start smoking? The smooth taste. I do it occaisionally because I do enjoy the flavor, I've never been addicted. But more importantly, people smoking cigars and pipes (of tobacco) aren't addicted, they just enjoy it, so you can compare that to marijuana. That said, I've tried all of the aforementioned and think each should be as legal as the others.

solid I think you are putting the blame on the wrong source. When it comes down to it, it's the people who commit the crimes, not the drugs. The US should have legalize drugs, but increase punishments for those who commit crimes when they're under the influence of the drugs. You spoke of meth… do you honestly believe that meth would be as big if cocaine and other hard drugs were legalized? That would at least prevent some of the explosions. Also, if you want to take a look back at schooling, for example, they don't really teach you about the drugs. They propagate their bad effects. Schools need to take a more objective teaching style towards drugs in a health class regardless of how illegal something is. I was told that marijuana was much worse than cigarettes (hahah). I even started bitching at my friends after I graduated when they started smoking pot. I can’t believe that I did after researching about it, and finally trying it out. Smoking pot is so much better than drinking in so many ways. Not only is it way healthier, but it has not immediate bad effects such as hangovers.

Your arguement is silly in that you CAN legally obtain samples of the ebola virus and inject it. No one seems to be doing it though... maybe if we make it illegal, it'll grab peoples attention and they'll start shooting up ebola!

The truth. Drugs = mind expanding. Expanded minds question Christianity and ultimately shun Christianity for what it is -a bunch of BS fables. The war on drugs is dictated by the Church as legalizing drugs would see the Church's ultimate downfall.

Legalize Marijuana. Keep meth, coke, heroin illegal. You can't die from smoking pot but you can overdose on all the other things. Marijuna is not addictive. The other things are all addictive. End prohibition NOW!
