examiner.com — A CA man was arrested last week, for an allegedly threatening phone message to Chicago Mayor Richard Daley's office. The man, Christopher Fox, was apparently incensed by some rather threatening remarks Daley made to a reporter. Fox also denies making any threats. Is Daley getting away with making threats for which "regular people" go to jail for?

You must be one of those ignorant and semi-literate urban sophisticates from the blue states. :)<a class="user" href="http://digg.com/political_opinion/Is_Mayor_Daley_more_equal_than_others?t=33051185#c33060319" rel="nofollow">http://digg.com/political_opinion/Is_Mayor_Daley_m ...</a>Isn't generalization fun?

@summeramanFTAIt's been very effective," Daley said, picking up a gun from the dozens displayed on a nearby table. "If I put this up your butt, you'll find out how effective it is. Let me put a round up your, you know."That is not a question...it is not in a question format. It is a statement. Words mean things. There much better ways to make the statement that something is effective. Even the mayor later apologized for the remark.

On the flip side, you can have a total weiner mayor (like we do in Seattle) who doesn't get a damn thing done. In 2009, Seattle voted out it's hard ass, lets-finally-get-s**t-done mayor, and replaced him with a total sissy who hasn't done anything of substance or usefullness for our city. Sometimes we in Seattle envy the Chicago or New York attitude of "f**k it, lets dig!"
