alecfeld.com— When MacZOT first launched earlier this year everyone was excited. Cheap and nice Mac software. However, it seems that recently MacZOT has run out of ideas.

Who didn't see this coming on the first day they announced it?Woot works because they can sell anything. $2 binoculars or $7k projectors. If MacZot started selling more expensive products, hardware, iPods, and all sorts of other Apple related merchandise then maybe, just maybe they'd be sustainable.
It seems to me that in order for MacZot to sell these apps, developers actually have to offer them at a discounted price. Many of the "cool" apps available sell just fine at the price they're currently at, so they probably don't find a need to cut the price down to half or more for MacZot.Bottom line is, I'm not too sure that the current ho-hum offerings of MacZot are entirely their fault.
Hey, I like MacZOT.I've picked up quite a few decent little apps. The bottom line is that not every app suited you or was interesting to you! It's called the Long Tail effect.Honestly, Shareware is all about applications that do one thing well and are extremely useful to a small niche of users. MacZOT can't hope to provide dozens of great applications for every user simply because that's not what the Shareware scene produces or is about! The fact that they've provided so many decent apps for a low price is a fantastic achievement. The signal to noise ratio is low because an application can't be all things to all people.
This issue has been settled. I did use the same theme as Glenn (its a popular theme called V2) until the new skin was finished. The main problem was trying to get the links to go in order but I couldn't do it so I just got rid of the links and used the current skin as it is.

NO DIGG. This is blogspam, Alec. Also you should be aware that ripping of other people's websites is uncool and illegal (copyright violation, there...) For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, compare Glenn Wolsey's site: http://www.glennwolsey.com/ to Alec Feld's site: http://alecfeld.com/Shame on you little boy... Shame...

Wow, I see absolutely nothing similar between these sites. Get off of your high horse.

This coming from the guy who, instead of coming up with an idea for an original logo, used the parody Web 2.0 logo maker. Hmm…funny eh?

That was a temp logo until the new skin was finished.
