Facebook blamed the problem on a bug, which was corrected. But a new issue may be harder to explain. On Tuesday, scores of mainstream press organizations (see WSJ, NYT, LATimes, CNET, AP, etc.).

Yes, search results being modified to exclude specific results couldn't possibly happen on purpose! Its always an accident. You must believe in lots of "accidents"

I'm sure the elimination of the IRS is part of implementing the 'fair tax' which IIRC eliminates all federal income taxes in exchange for a federal sales tax of about 23% on certain "non-essnetial" items (TVs, cars, etc.). Without the IRS all the people working for it can get real jobs that help move the country forward instead of contributing to the bureaucracy that's there now.

Err, yes they can. The restaurant could do that if they wanted to. What the f**k is stopping them? The only reason they don't do crazy stuff is they fear for losing customers. Aside from that, yes, they CAN do whatever they want.

It wouldn't be bad if I had the additional money up front due to no income taxes. It is not a VAT, which I personally believe are the most dishonest and selfish thing a government can impose, taxwise.
