To be fair, the TOS is laughable due to the statement that "Digg may remove any Content and Digg accounts at any time for any reason, or for no reason at all." Everyone is at risk of being banner whether they are breaking the rules or not.
Well, I totally agree that feminine strength should be represented in politics, but it seems that even females have a disputed idea of what feminism really is. Generally society regards women like Hillary as strong icons of feminism, as opposed to a stay-at-home soccer mom. Bearing children and raising a household is thought to be a "weaker" option for a girl than becoming a successful, educated woman who powers through opposition with a pantsuit and a short haircut.. Its almost as if to be powerful, a woman has to break out of her gender roles. And really, what it all comes down to is gender roles. Society tells us that women are supposed to marry early, bear children, be subservient, and make sandwiches. Its an issue of power- a woman who views everyone else as nothing more or nothing less than her equal is taking on masculine traits. Is there really power in sinking down in to a predetermined style of life instead of challenging the fundamentals? They tried to show a "strong" traditional mom-type politician with Sarah Palin. But maybe it wouldn't have been such a bad idea if she wasn't such a blooming idiot, and also opposed to woman's rights.
Yeah. Digg is so effin sexist it really pisses me off. Guess what- humor at a girl's expense is not just humorous, but it IS sexist. I don't even know why I looked at the comments when I knew they would all be posted by the sexist jerks trying to annoy us. Each time I voice an oppinion about something that has to do with women, rape, pedophilia, etc. I get shot down by sexist jerks.
You just made a hasty generalization though that women mostly chat on Aim and shop online and that men mostly look up technology and news. That's a logical fallacy. I am a woman. Making a generalization like that really just supports inaccurate stereotypes. I don't chat on aim I rarely shop online. I'm on digg a lot, I play a lot of online games.
