Bush is easily the worst president we've had in 70-80 years. A lot of people will tell you that Richard Nixon and/or Lyndon Johnson were worse for Watergate/Vietnam, but at least they were great at either foreign affairs (Nixon with China) or domestic affairs (LBJ's Great Society). Bush has only managed to alienate our longtime allies across the globe and create vast partisan divides at home.It saddened me to hear one of my longtime heroes, former president Jimmy Carter (Why is he one of my heroes? He may not have been a great president, but his post-president deeds are truly something to praise), had retracted his statement about president Bush. I really wish he would have stuck with his convictions rather than act like he was at fault for saying something that quite a bit of people agree with.
