Oh, just realised you were talking about the MB not the MBP. In which case:Basic MacBook - 2.1Ghz Core2Duo, 1GB RAM, 120GB HDD, CD-RW/DVD-ROM, 13" screen, 4.5hours battery life - £588 on Insight UKLenovo Thinkpad T61 8898 - 2.0Ghz Core2Duo, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, DVD-RW, 14.1" screen, 5 hour battery - £649.98.So, it is £60 more expensive for an extra 50GB RAM, 0.1Ghz slower, 1" larger screen (which could be good or bad), and an almost the same battery.I'd go for the mac still.

MacBooks are good and they always will be.I don't have one but I would love to have one. But they are a little overpriced.

They've been LED backlit for a while, and the glossy screens really bring out the color.
