Right, out of the pure goodness of our hearts, because our leaders care more about good and evil than they care about money, and because our leaders are so obviously repulsed by the idea of torture and murder. Riiight... What an ideal fairytale world some people live in.

Life is definately unfair. Iraq should be a futuristic utopia by now from all the money it pulls in. Their streets should be lined with ivory, and every kid get s a laptop ont heir 5th birthday. Does this happen, no :(Maybe some day.

Iraq still only produces 1/4 of what the US produces...

The war was for ousting Saddam - which nobody thought was a bad idea. There are obvious perks afterwards (rebuilding contracts, etc...), but they were of course largely superficial and not the primary reason all those countries helped to oust Saddam. Some people listen to too much Art Bell I think... :)

Swift2...WHAT???You really believe the people of Iraq were better off under Saddam? Oh my God, you are the sheep the Liberals pray for... I hope you have family that will take care of you in your old age... Oh wait, you probably think the Government will (and should) do that.
