why can't they sell oil to China? Iraqis oil is not even counted on the open exchange, this is actually an added source, it will relieve the oil crunch. Of course you are to blinded by your politics to know any of this. Bunch of dumb asses.
This contract serves two purposes: 1) it 'shows' that the US doesn't control the govt. (a PR move) and 2) the field China will be developing is in the south along the Iranian border, surrounded by Shiites. If a western company goes in there it will be the subject of repeated attacks. China already works closely with Iran. Ok, kiddies, what else would you like me to explain. : )

is mislead, china won't get any % of revenue from Iraq, instead Iraq would has to pay for loading their equipment and fee for drilling.
