nytimes.com — Americans increasingly see the war in Iraq as distinct from the fight against terrorism, and nearly half believe President Bush has focused too much on Iraq to the exclusion of other threats. Should the trend hold, the rising skepticism could present a political obstacle for Mr. Bush and his allies on Capitol Hill.

@TomtheWombat"There has not been a significant terrorist attack on the US since the war started."Correlation does not imply causation. What you are showing here is a logical fallacy.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Correlation_implies_causation

"I think oil did have something to do with the invasion, but only on a secondary level."Oil was THE REASON for the invasion. Not a secondary effect. Why would Bush, or anybody else, bring democracy or peace or anything to a country ?Why would you need an ally or any other complicated indirect solution when you CAN (are able to, and no one will stop you from) just go in there, invade the country, put whoever you want in the head of the new governement, and keep your military there to make sure things will go as expected.Us will never get out of Iraq, even if they kill all the resistance, they will keep military bases there, next excuse (if an excuse is needed) will probably be Iran (see corea for example)

I don't get my news from the daily show since it is a comedy show, not a news show. Whats next? political thought from cartman on southpark?

Sorry to burst your bubble about your "Daily Show isn't news comment" but The Daily Show is more of a news program than any piece of neocon garbage on FauxNews. As for not liking South Park..."shut your f**king face uncle f**ker, you don't eat or sleep or mow the lawn, you just f**k your uncle all day long."suck my balls
