desmoinesregister.com — The Iowa Supreme Court this morning struck down a 1998 state law that limits marriage to one man and one woman. The ruling is viewed as a victory for the gay rights movement in Iowa and elsewhere, and a setback for social conservatives who wanted to protect traditional families.

Goes back and checks out the posts to this thread, reads where I posted the following: "Actually, if you go the Hebrew, it is much more specific. The noun in Hebrew can indicate masculine, feminine or both, depending on use. In these cases, it covers both genders." followed immediately by: "Sure, since we are talking abomination, I'll get the Hebrew for that word as referenced both in Liviticus and Ezekiel; תועבה with a transliteration of tow`ebah is used both in Leviticus and Ezekiel." Abomination is the operative word in the text indicating both sexes and the fact homosexuality is abomination. Unfortunately, you seem to have a hard time grasping that concept, or perhaps you simply refuse to.

Very well, let's get to the subject at hand. The article discusses legalizing homosexual marriage. The Bible says from the beginning God greated male and female to marry and form a family unit, period. There is no provison, direct or implied, for man to man marriage or woman to woman marriage. Then, fornication is prohibited for everyone, period. Fornication is any sex outside of marriage. So, the logical mind can see that sex outside of marriage is prohibited period, the only sex allowed is between married persons, the only persons allowed to marry are male to female period leaving the only logical conclusion that homosexuality, and all other forms of sex outside of marriage, are prohibited. And, since God ordained male to female to be the only marriage form, even if homosexuals enter into a marriage against the will of God, they are still in sin irregardless of being married. That is not my saying, that is God's will.

Ozel,So my question really is, if someone has eaten or does eat anything that's listed above, isn't that an abomination and therefore on the same general level that homosexualism is at?Kinda where I'm getting at is with all the Christians yelling about this, I wonder how many aren't doing other stuff that the bible itself is defining as an abomination...and thus, really, isn't it like "the pot calling the kettle black?"

@TheDarkTrumpetWhat he won't tell you is that according to his book, dietary laws still apply.________________________________Matthew 5:18: I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.________________________________In Jesus' supposed own words, all laws are still in effect. But as with the entire book, it's all a matter of interpretation.

In case you didnt' get the memo, Obama has pretty been labeled a 3rd term bush failure. wiretaps, wars, bailouts, etc. Have you been living under a rock? I would recommend you not put the two in the same sentence.

Gay marriage just shows the decline of White civilization. It is depraved and should not be encouraged.
