The UN is a joke. Russia and China have just blocked our efforts to act. It's going to be uncomfortable, but at some point it's going to have to be militarily solved by the UK and the US. The reason it falls to us is because we're the only ones willing. And so be it, the last thing these people need is a bunch of UN Peacekeeper pieces of feces rapists putting them in camps and having their way with them. And anyone who thought John Bolton was a bad candidate needs to look at what he's been doing the last year in terms of completely undiplomatically pointing out how disgusting not acting on these things is. He and his moustache rock.

Donations are nice but if you really want to solve such problems, you need to do something on a larger scale.Like don't elect morons like Bush, Blair and so on.

Do these invisible children take invisible money?Because I have about 300,000 invisible dollars I can spare. /sarcasm

I'm glad the UN has really taken care of this. The US isn't the World Police. When we are, you hate it. When we aren't, you hate.I'm all for isolationist practices in foreign policy. You can't have the US both ways.

What's sad is that he's right...most Americans wouldn't care enough about this to let it bother their comfortable little lives (that so many of us complain about...I'm guilty of that as well). Not that anyone is really doing it, but you can't really blame the U.S. government for not doing anything, when I think that a large percentage of our countrymen would rather ignore it, pretend it doesn't exist, but do the old "it's horrible, but..." routine, which roughly translates "I really don't care if it means I'll be inconvenienced by it." We've got it good here, maybe too good and there's a world of people out there who could be helped by that fact. I'm kind of cynical, so I would gather that most people would just go the safe route, the "It's horrible, but not my problem." I guess they're right, though it's sad considering so many in this country identify with some branch of Christianity or another (guess no one cares much for the actual teachings any longer...note the moral of the 'Good Samaritan'). It's not really their problem, but I'm glad there are people out there who are willing to take on the problems of others and sacrifice for them. Maybe that's why so many of our relationships and dealings seem so meaningless and shallow, we're a society that has forgotten how to sacrifice, which is one of the most vital aspects of love.

National Geographic must know about this issue (along with many others) for a long time but maybe it was not "good enough". These guys beat them on their own game!!! Just saw. Everybody should see it.

I see one solution, that is damn hard to implement -Population Growth Politics. Just how bad would this scenario be?http://www.apple.com/trailers/universal/childrenofmen/

Dude!? It doesn't look like the link you provided takes you to where you can get the Invisible Children CD for free...all I could tell was that it was a church CD and the guy you talked about was the leader of a church or something...no affiliation with IC. And by the way...since when has digg become a site for trying to convert people to your religion?

Can anyone tell me if the IC DVD cusses or anything like that? I know it prolly has disturbing images and stuff, but what about language? I'm only asking cuz I watched the clip on the website titled "Parental Warning" (or something like that) and it was these children asking what a mother-effing witch was. I don't really want to give/lend my friends something like that. Anyways, just wondering.
