I am abusing first comment reply to say this:GET OVER IT! This story has been proven false MANY YEARS ago. Why the f**k is ANY attention being given to it here on digg?Hello, Snopes?
I know what we are all missing here. We forgot to mention the key to making this car work in real life is the Flux Capacitor. Once we find one of those we'll be rid of those pesky arabs...(hey btw you consipiricy theorists, if your tree hugging friends would let us drill off the shores of our own country, we wouldn't need to be nearly as dependent on arab oil as we are!)

Yes, electric cars are viable, and there's even a movie out about how viable they are. People should go see that.As for water cars, I haven't read anything on how it works, if it works. Just like if you believe 9/11 was orchestrated by Bush, there's nothing you can do. Split it out to H2 and O2 (because, obvious to those who can really answer this question, Oxygen atoms tend to join to each other as O2)then when you COMBINE the Hydrogen back together with the Oxygen you released in the electrolysis and some more oxygen from the air.. will you get more.. wait.. crap you wont.. nevermind
