Does anyone know of a program that can create video files by stringing photos together? I've been trying to find one to no avail for awhile now. Please and thank you.
Well, the M mode might seem scary, but with some test shots and some glances at the light meter you can easily figure out the correct exposure. I prefer to take timelapse videos with a longer exposure to get a smoother video (no blips moving in and out).Good luck!
Congratulations!I've had mine for a month now, and I'm still learning. digital-photography-school is definitely a good website, and I've learned a lot from them.Other sites you might like are DSLRTips (with one of the most friendliest forums I've ever encountered), diyphotography (because you can make a lot of accessories yourself) and cameralabs for body and lens reviews.Happy shooting!

I made a 24 hour time lapse of downtown Seattle a couple years back. I just reloaded it in HD, youtube didn't support HD a couple of years ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0ukuS6pcWUHave a few other time lapses there too. Going to work on making a time lapse of flowers opening in the morning and closing at night next.

I used Quicktime pro's "import image sequence" feature, which worked quite well.

nice article, here's another good one about how you can make your own time-lapse photography system with a little ingenuity. http://www.creativepro.com/article/make-your-own-t ...-- find a used digital camera lens on http://lensauction.com --
