What are you, Digg's marketing department?

I emailed my senators and congressman a month or two about this, and did receive a (surprisingly informed) response from Hillary Clinton's office who said that she'd watch how the appeal went. I'll reply back now telling her that the appeal failed and see if she can do something.Anyway, the point is that contacting your senators (<a class="user" href="http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm)">http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm)</a> and congressmen (<a class="user" href="http://www.visi.com/juan/congress/)">http://www.visi.com/juan/congress/)</a> can help, so please do so:

so internet radio shows like Uncalled for Radio, Red Bar Radio and Nobody likes Onions are effected by this? They play music, but not for playing its sake
bmatherlyjrApr 17, 2007
Yes, they would be effected by the new rates.Di.fm, will probably go the route of negations such as Pandora, and Last.fm

What about Creative Commons music? Most of it is specifically allowed to be payed royalty free.

> People should feel free to ignore copyright until the RIAA members come back to the bargaining table and give you something reasonable to abide by.Yeah, that'll work. So when people follow your advice you'll pay their damages when they settle or lose the lawsuit?
