No, why? If you do some research and check facts, blogs and bloggers / readers can offer up evidence to refute and even change the outcome of a story. Ever see that happen (retraction) in the news? Why? Their pompous assh**es who are bought and paid for by their sponosorholes.
If blogs are well researched, based on facts, and written without opinion, they could be considered "reliable" at best, but not credible news sources. The very nature of blogs implies opinions. But, every journalist also writes to a bias (personal feelings regarding a situation always affect how it is written of), but refrain from directly interjecting their opinion into their stories. That's the key difference. And I see retractions (corrections) in newspapers and magazines all the time. Most of the time it occurs when a reporter screws up some facts and they have to be corrected for credibility.
Of course they're bias, they're a business, they're out to make money. Who owns news channels?, corporations who's only goal is the bottom line and their share holders.News channels are no longer consider news channels , they're more like opinion channels
Bias? They are full blown propaganda machines and have been for decades.Educate yourselves on the issues and this becomes very very clear. The propaganda extends throughout the networks and goes way beyond the so called "news". Don't blame DIGG for your own ignorance, thank the community for making you think and then make up your own mind.If you are unable or unwilling to do the research required to understand the critical issues the propagandists are trying to force feed you, then PLEASE just ignore them and get out of the way.But don't support an issue just because some talking heads told you to......

What makes CNN so trustworthy? Yes the two sites you mention have an agenda, but doesn't CNN also have one?
