Until it gets unsupported and discontinued from Windows OS.Once ffox gets into windows OS series , I am sure people will start to think ms got its brains straight.
Everyone boycott IE for good. Not only has it got this security issue, it's slow, clunky, struggles with decent websites and makes every web designer/developers job hell. Plus you just know that another security issue will appear within a month! Get firefox or safari on your PC and never have to worry about IE again!
Giving me negative diggs constitutes consent. :)Close your eyes and open wide. Here comes a big surprise.BTW: FireFox is not anymore secure than IE. Wake the f**k up.
IE stands for ''idiots everywhere browser'' Join the IE revolution join millions of people who get their information stolen or if you want take a cruise on the virus express with IE let your PC enjoy the benefits of viruses trojans Spyware Hack ware oh theres no end to the possibility of getting a virus with IE join IE today Idiots Everywhere Browser . www.microsoft.com/idiotseverywherebrowser/idiots/stupid/gettingowned/gotowned/getownsinthefuture
Yes I agree, security holes are discovered all the time, and official fixes sometimes take weeks to be released. Although operating systems are becoming more secure, hackers are using more soffisticated methods for attacking the stack including things like heap spraying techniques and scattering the shellcode so it can remain un-detected. My advice as a security consultant would be to use firefox instead of IE as they tend to release patches pretty quick! Remember to keep your browser updated daily, run updated antivirus software on all your machines, force tight firewallrules on your workstations and routers, and if your a network administrator filter your web traffic sensibly.I work for an IT security company based in Carlisle, Cumbria and we've seen many businesses suffer data theft from poorlyadministrated systems. If your business holds sensitive data that needs protected, the right thing to do is en-sure you havetaken the right steps to doing so before it's too late. Curiously, I got the IE7 update and Firefox 3.0.5 update at the same time. Curiously, the Firefox 3.0.5 update contains fixes to "several security issues" (<a class="user" href="http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.0.5/releasenotes/).">http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.0.5/r ...</a> Both have security issues. Clearly, Firefox has every right to its holier-than-thou attitude...
