HAHA. I just installed this and the first thing that happens when I open my first new page is IE8 beta crashes. I guess thats expected but its still funny.
it probably has nothing to do with rendering bugs: When you develop a site you need to make one for IE (to fix all the IE6-7 rendering bugs) and one for the other (compliant) browsers. Since IE8 is compliant but renders the non compliant ie code, you get weird results.
I downloaded IE8, didn't even install it, just left the setup file to rot. And things have been crashing all over the shop.Firefox has crashed about 4 times (completely unheard of until tonight), and Windows Explorer once. Coincidence?
Youd be surprised. I dont need some fancy multi-tabbed *application* when all I need to do is edit a file really quick. There really isnt that great a difference between IE and FF that most people would care to switch. Its just the client. And if average Joe wants to go to YouTube, he really couldnt care less if its via IE or FF. He wants YouTube. This is the same reason Linux wont make it on the desktop. People dont care about *Windows*....they care about Word...Excel.... etc....
somehow I am not a a IE fan because of the way it has been crashing since the first version. I think they should concentrate on solving this before adding more features.

This excites me because I won't have to write broken code for my pages to display properly in IE. I'm still skeptical.<a class="user" href="http://vb.paramegsoft.com/31/">http://vb.paramegsoft.com/31/</a><a class="user" href="http://vb.paramegsoft.com/52/">http://vb.paramegsoft.com/52/</a><a class="user" href="http://vb.paramegsoft.com/22/">http://vb.paramegsoft.com/22/</a><a class="user" href="http://ladies.paramegsoft.com/">http://ladies.paramegsoft.com/</a>
