Has the support for CSS 2 improved at all? Any improvements for percentage widths and how IE interprets widths (as in it includes margin, padding etc)? I hate designing for IE 6 and the testing I have done so far suggests that I'm going to hate designing for IE 7 too....has microsoft heard of Accessibility?

Digg seems to be even more broken with the latest version of IE7. The ads at the top seem to wrap, so that one of them appears under the first one!

Still loads of things missing that the IE6 users have been asking to have for years, doesn't really offer me anything over IE6 so far apart from tabs. The ui just looks wrong and cant be customised much and whats with the search box? What if I don't want it there?Sigh

Ok, this is getting sad now. IE 7 STILL f**ks up Remote Assistance in XP. Ever since the original beta this has been going on. It's their own product, how can they not make it work with elements in their OS? I guess it's just typical Microsoft quality control at work.

Maybe you should buy a legit copy of Windows and quit your bitching.

@DS513:One single period of inactivity proves nothing. mIRC was stagnant at 6.16 for almost two years, but 6.2 was released only several months after 6.17. Just because Microsoft took years for IE7 doesn't mean they're guaranteed to take years for IE8. On the other hand, having one period of inactivity could just as well prove that they have no reservations about taking however long they feel like taking.

No support for XP 64-bit :( Looks like Micro$oft has officially abandoned XP 64-bit

It takes two restarts to install? You got to be kidding me. On the plus side, I was going to say IE 7 worked fine for me when I was trying to view hidden comments, but then I realized I had absentmindedly already swapped back to FF. I remember now I got tired of waiting for IE to load its unwanted customization page: http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx. I was back on Digg w/ FF long before IE got loaded the page. After the install, my quick launch bar was hidden. Easy enough to fix, but still . . .
