So, Intel offers to license the tech back in '98, but waits 10 years to bring it out? I think they figured out how to do it a different way as not to infringe on this butthole's patent. In other news, Gurindar Sohi's car ran off the road sometime around midnight last night. There were no survivors of the crash.........
So you sent this to someone that you live with? Wow. GET UP AND WALK TO THEM. And then say "Hey! Do you want to read something on Digg that people like me converse with one another about badgers and stupid s**t. I have never been anywhere else on the internet and met people like you. You're f**king ridiculous. Go outside and get a damn tan you hippie.
Actually, less than 50% of the University of Wisconsin-Madison's funding comes from state or federal funding. The Federal funding is federal projects and programs (I'm assuming grants). The state pays less than 20% of the school's budget.Again, the fact that the university collects fees on it's patents allows it to help fund itself.

Give the guy credit, he invented the idea of a table lookup. Now that surely deserves a patent.

Good to see someone finally got the Star Wars reference to relying on a database to figure out what's real.
