Perhaps a viPod coming down the line, sounds better to the ear than a 'vee'Pod

"Yes, Asustek, the business name of the company who are commerically known as Acer."I think you meant Asus. (pronounced "a-soos", don't ask me why, They say it this way and it's their company)Acer = 宏碁Asustek = Asus = 華碩Two completely seperate, competing Taiwanese companies.

I'm waiting for that myself. Wish they'd hurry.

All I want out of the new machines is the option for a slightly higher resolution than 1024x768. I love the form factor of the ibook (both sizes), but just a little more real estate would help out alot.... it looks like with the addition of bootcamp, they're going for some market share, and one of the pieces to do that is that you need comparable resolutions than others near the price point.

I do agree the driver thing was bad, but you think the PC mod scene would learn "live by the benchmark, die by the benchmark". Guess fanboyisms die hard :pAnd while the new iBooks will no doubt be nice, I'm seriously considering getting the MacBook Pro (horrible name not withstanding) now that Final Cut Studio has gone universal.

I like how it has a 13.3" screen. I hope that's widescreen. I hope a 13.3" widescreen MacBook Pro comes out.
