Chernobyl - the town and the power plant, would make a most Excellent CTF & Deathmatch Unreal Tournament III map.The map maker could even include 'hot zones' that drain life, maybe customize a H.U.D. for displaying the radiation levels...
Imagine what it was like for the firemen who were up on the roof of the reactor building in their futile bid to stop the fire. They died within a few weeks. Not a fun way to go at all.
Incorrect. If you walk there, you will kick up radioactive dust that will give you a somewhat elevated cancer risk compared to people who don't walk there.
This might sound dumb, because my knowledge of nuclear reactors is about 20 minutes of reading after watching this video. Why do they want to stop water from reaching the reactor. Wouldn't they want the water to, I guess, cool everything down that's still left in the reactor. If they filled the entire chamber of whatevers down there, couldn't they sort of, keep the radiation levels down.
