"Anti-Dig: An "insane fix"? Please don't overhype."Yeah, I was thinking something more on the lines of blurting out "Alakazam!" and then waving your hand infront of the monitor in order to fix it. But this will do just the same.
My grandma had a tip to clear up blurry tv sets: put it on the ground and run an old metal vacuum cleaner in front of it. Same effect as the magnets, and it worked like a charm. I'm not sure if it works with modern day vacuum cleaners.
21.0: WTF? I have a degaussing coil. I made it. It works great. Take copper wire, run it in a big loop several turns, wrap it all up in electrical tape to keep from electrocuting yourself, plug it in.Of course, that's the simple way. Downside there is that it blows your circut breaker instantly. So you wire a plug inline with it that you can plug a lamp into. The lamp bulb adds resistance to the thing and prevents it from tripping the breaker. And it still throws off more than enough juice to be a degausser. Check out this guys page for how to do that: http://www.oscarcontrols.com/degauss/index.shtml

I guess this guy doesn't know that you can hit the degauss button again until it fixes that.
