Again, the countries having the most employment and the highest quality of life are the ones which have the most business-friendly environment. India's exclusively socialist welfare state fixations of the past 50 years have kept its job creation low, as well as its quality of life. Now that India has started economic reforms, more businesses are proliferating and more jobs are being created, to give more people income than ever before. As Indians demonstrate to the world that they can do math and science with the best, and that there's more to India than just squalor and poverty, the world is increasingly willing to trade with and work with Indians, including outsourcing technology to them. This is creating jobs, economic opportunities and benefiting the people as a whole. Projects like the Chandrayaan lunar mission, and even the Tata Nano, are showing the world that Indians are good at low-cost engineering. That's not just something to be proud of, it's something to encourage and to take advantage of.
