DestroyFascism is simply spewing FUD. Vista Ultimate is "like" XP Home? No. Vista Home Basic is like XP Home.Vista Home Premium OEM starts from $114.95 AUD - reference: http://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=vista ...

BULLs**t! 1. Apple posted record earnings last quarter. People are switching to Mac or Linux.2. Windows has ALWAYS been the most pirated software ever, and MS still managed to make billions.3. Anytime a software company loses money they blame piracy.4. People who got Vista have been switching back to XP in droves!5. Xbox360 is a piece of s**t that breaks all the time, so people are trading them in for a PS3.

Home PC software is but a fraction of MS software. There is a lot more enterprise software that you never used and never seen. Macs and Linux don?t make a dent in the overall picture. MS is HUGE, trust me.MS makes Windows and Office easy to pirate so that they gain market penetration when users bring preference to industry (where they have to license it) except in China. :P The big money is in business sales. Mostly all MS products are OVERKILL for home use so they know that no one would buy it so they LET people pirate it. As a matter of fact, they are making dev tools and web authoring tools FREE for students nowadays?charity? Or strategy?X360?s outsale PS3?s and have the most games because of demand.Get your facts straight and don?t act like some blind biased Microsoft hater.

I've noticed the change lately too. I switched four years ago and at the time people thought I was mad. Intel Macs helped but people were still comfortable with XP. However, the arrival of Vista has changed the conversation from "why should I change from Windows?" to "Vista sucks,I heard Macs are better" and that above all else is ruining Microsoft's day. I've lots count of the number of people who have tried my MacBook and gone and bought one themselves. I've even had people who say they have only ever used Windows and wouldn't consider anything else actually change their mind and say that after their experience with Vista they will be buying a Mac next time.
