care2.com — Currently 38 states allow companies to fire LGBT workers without any cause other than the fact that they are gay. One of those states, Florida, has legislators that are introducing a bill to provide members of the LGBT community with protection against discrimination at work, in public accommodations and in housing.

The Declaration of Independence: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."Can anyone point to an exclusionary clause prohibiting gays and lesbians from enjoying the same rights heterosexuals enjoy? Anyone?
