This is just so physically sickening. The actions of China haunt me constantly, and now Canada appears to be trying to follow in their wake. The seal hunts have made me furious for many years. This must stop and only people willing to say something and boycott products can help cause change. It seems like so little in the face of this horror, but money is what makes these politicians' world go around, so it may be the best hope for crushing this disgusting behavior.

What is the Canadian government doing? What are they passing on to their younger generation? That it is alright to club & kill defenseless animals for their fur? I can't believe that this type of government EXISTS in a democratic society. Think again Canada the world will be watching this news.

a sicking situation, something has to be done to stop this kind of practice. There is all different kinds of fake fur, we don't need to use innocent animals. Shame on people who think it's cool to wear this fur.

I can't believe that any country that calls itself "civillized" could possibly condone and support the killing of helpless little animals for their fur....we are not freezing in caves anymore, we don't need fur of any kind in any way! The way that all of the countries of this world treat animals is criminal, but this takes my breath away as it is so close to where I live, just up north.....man's inhumanity is horrifically imense!

While a number of us are humane to animals, and hopefully to most people, this is not a humane world. People seem to have stopped taking responsibility for the actions and are only interested in themselves. I don't know the answer, except thru humane education and letter writing campaigns until the various jerks can be voted out of office. Besides, who needs real furs, cat, dog, seal, mink, fox, etc., when the faux stuff is gorgeous, if you want fur?!
