bbsnews.net — The national campaign is an effort to let Americans know that there is room for reason and clarity of thought, free from the dogma that organized religion uses to keep its flock in line; as well as donating.

Everyone in America IS free to choose the meaning of the word God. I'm not sure why you say otherwise.Certainly "the religious right" is a lobbyist group, just like any other lobbyist group. But they haven't succeeded in changing "Freedom of Religion," nor AFAIK are they trying to. I work with a Jew, an Atheist, two Catholics, and an Agnostic. And the police haven't raided our office once! :-)-Pie

That's the way religion works, do as I say, not as I do.

@kavlinb: Don't bother to account for the exponential human population growth of the past few centuries or anything. 3 million people in the 1200's is probably the same as 300 million in the mid 1900's.

good comment---this is for BoneheadFarker--some reason I couldn't post a reply to his comment--you say there is no proof--you need to read "The Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel--I hope you find what you need....

It's about time people start expressing this. I don't believe pressing religion upon anyone is right, however this is what religions do starting with kids in their most vulnerable stages of life. If it takes a huge media movement to show how many people out their despise religion then that is what needs to be done. I can't wait to have a presidential candidate who says he doesn't believe in God and there be enough people out there to support this. And sadly, it all starts with our damn media and allowing our right to freedom of speech.
