I had two cats, brothers, one would barely eat for weeks (when a cat doesn't eat there's something wrong) after his brother got hit by a car. He always seemed like he was waiting for him to come home. He saw his brother get hit but didn't stay at his side. He actually ran away and hid, they were probably running in the road.
That is sad but my week has been really sad. My cat I had for 10 years got hit by a car and now is dead. The same day I had 4 kittens the mom left them and they were covered with fleas. I gave them a bath and food. They were about 4 weeks old. I woke up one morning one was dead. Then later on that day another one and etc. They would get really cold, start loosing thier mobility and then lay there and try to breathe just gasping for air, making sounds.. and I did try to help it I feed them some chicken livers and kept them warm but it wasnt enough. I have one left I hope it survives but its getting really depressing..
Both are sad. True that we should forget what's happening around the world but we shouldn't underestimate what happens in front of our eyes because of that either.
No Julesrs, not all animals are equal. If you really believed that you would stop breathing. Every breath you take slaughters millions of bacteria. How can you be so heartless? Suicide is the only way you can maintain your moral high ground.If you are unwilling to do that, they you must admit that SOME animals do not hold the same value as others. You and I just draw that line in a different location.
This has been on the web for a while but it's so sad. Few days ago someone hit a stray dog and left him in the road close to my workplace, while I was calling the vet other dogs came next to her and started to crying and liking her wounds.
