youtube.com— A man discusses the Stimulus with his 3 year old daughter and 4 year old son. Small children show better concept of property rights than the President.

No, they don't have to pay. You're not obliged to give to the thief. I wont pay. Besides, by the time these guys are adults federal government wont exist.Noone would pay this debt. It's not even real money, just fiat money. And its system is collapsing.
@ zacharytelschowI am not a conservative. A historically correct understanding of "left" and "right" places statist conservatism on the right, state socialism in the middle and radical anti-state libertarianism on the far left. Bill is the one defending the status quo and I'm neither that nor a defender of some idealized "conservative" conception of the status quo ante. I'm an anarchist. I am simultaneously a "free market libertarian" and a "libertarian socialist" -- because in a stateless society socialism (in the positive sense of the word) stops being a political ideology and becomes a business model (employee-owned cooperatives, mutual aid societies and so forth).Have a look at this classic from Benjamin Tucker..."State Socialism and Anarchism: How Far They Agree and Wherein They Differ"<a class="user" href="http://praxeology.net/BT-SSA.htm">http://praxeology.net/BT-SSA.htm</a>
Upsetting your kids to make a point on the Internet seems sorta crass. The whole fear campaign (debt to the next generation) is a joke. Did you say that about Iraq? What about wasteful military spending such as with Star Wars? A big chunk of the recovery/stimulus money will help keep teachers in your schools and police on the streets, not to mention key infrastructure safety improvements. Your kids and mine will benefit from that and the bulk of the spending. And let's not forget why why are spending on recovery and stimulus: mismanagement and aloofness by the Bush Admin. What I find amazing is that people didn't say when Bush gave a tax cut to America's richest people, your kids will be paying for that! Well, we are. Meet the trillion dollar deficit Bush left, also fueled by incredible wasteful spending. I just do not get how everyday people support a party and ideology that is beholden to the wealthy and corporate elites. Trickle down economics is a lie and a joke. Not wanting to only benefit the wealthy (with the hope that they will give "us" a job), is not socialism. Reagan spent his way (military buildup -- corporate socialism, let's say) into prosperity for the wealthy and cut taxes at the same time, as did W, leaving us a terrible deficit each time. But that's OK, kids. You may be brainwashed but don't brainwash your kids. Give 'em a fair representation of the issues, and when they are old enough to understand.
democrats don't have to fear losing their seats as long as they vote party lines and whenever there is a problem with one of the policies, they can claim george bush did it and they will have no fear of losing their seats
