"Yes, it does. Apple even says so."No. PC = personal computer, today typically referring to the x86 architecture. Apple would say otherwise because they have a vested interest in people believing that their hardware is actually different, rather than the same hardware in a prettier case.
"If you're having stability problems, it's probably a driver's fault, and Microsoft doesn't write most of the drivers. Try again."Great. Thanks. That's very f**king helpful, ass. You know, for every pussy out there whining about the "elitist" Linux boards (which I've never found by the way, but let's assume they're out there) I get four drooling MS lobotomites telling me it's "bad drivers" that are blue-screening my machine. Fantastic. Since MS apparently has no control over what the f**k goes into its gargantuan s**tpile of an OS, what the f**k am I supposed to do? Oh, yeah, switch to a REAL OS. "Try again" yourself, c**kmonkey.
um. fukc you!I didn't say anything about drivers. I had a mobo with a crack in it, made the system crash and fail p.o.s.t. periodically. It was a pentium II. Even a crappy Dell can manage to remain stable unless you hurt it.

Unlike Apple users, people who use Windows generally don't hold birthday parties for their OS's.

Folks.....if you are comfortable with what you can work with, eventhough encountering hiccups along the way...then what is there to complain about??

I totally agree. I'd be on Mac or Linux right now if XP hadn't been such an improvement or released much later.
