email-marketing-reports.com— Hilarious list of parallels between ancient rome and the modern-day web. Personal favorite: "Naked Cleopatra" is the top search term on Google.

Can someone please explain to me how KnightMareInc says "that was pretty lame" and gets dugg down big time but then Birdoftruth says "It was lame" and gets dugg up? Do you guys just value the fact that Bird's post was more concise since it had two less words? Please, I don't get it.
I didn't expect the series to last too long. The show isn't really about Rome, but rather about the two soldier's (Vorenus and Pullo) lives and how they were part of those tumultuous times. Can't expect those two to live forever. My only gripe was that the producers could've split the last season into 2, but decided to cram it all into 10 episodes.
"Finally, Rome burns to the ground while Emperor Nero battles online with Hakkar the Soulflayer in World of Warcraft."wasn't much better as far as geekiness goes...

Rome didn't get canceled early. The production costs were just out of control, so they couldn't keep it up.

Mildly amusing. Although contrary to popular belief (any Hollywood), Cleopatra was actually ugly!SOURCE: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/tyne/6357311.stm
