Hasn't anyone else here seen the TV show he is on, its called "Mad Mike and Mark" or something similar. He always does stuff like this, normally though to get a good video or camara shot of an animal. He's South African, they always seem to be a bit more extreme. There is another guy who deals with snakes who is ultra crazy (or brave depending on how you look at it). I find these people a bit crazy, but they do spend their whole lives studying these animals. Yes something bad can always happen, but they know that. It is the same as sky diving or rock climbing or a million other sports, something bad can always happen, even if you are trained. They take these risks knowingly.
You know they had a small army of guys with assault rifles behind the camera ready to smoke that cat, if he got too close. The cat was smart enough to be puzzled by his confidence, and just wander off.
