digidave.org — Digg relies on it's people helping police the site, so here goes: "Sicc joined Digg just over a month ago. In that month he has garnered: An overall ranking of 57, has Dugg 7,427, and submitted 933 stories. I think it'll raise the eyebrow of anyone who has been on Digg for some time and knows that Sicc's numbers just aren't realistic."

I don't know, you tell me. Everyone has their panties in a bunch...why? Because I moved up so fast? I'm not submitting BS stories form BS sites, so wtf is the problem? Seriously?FOXCNNCBSABCETC.I'm not submitting stories form www.mikesnewssite.com or something, they're legit stories, what's the beef?

Looks like the Digg battle was lost. Oh well.

How in the hell would I be gaining money form what I'm doing? You think major news networks have hired me or something? I mean, that's where 99% of my stuff comes from. So unless you think CNN, FOX, ABC, and so on are paying me, I don't see how I could be profiting from my user status?

Looks like I owe you an apology for going too far with my insinuations. The implications of what this means for the quality of stories reaching the frontpage is another issue but I now realize that I went too far. You'll probably always think I'm a prick but that's my fault and not yours. I'm not going to take down any of the stuff I wrote but I will add an editorial note to the end linking to an apology that I'm writing right now.Hope that's cool with you.
