Many feel they are too drastic and would leave us worst off like the gold standard. We'd need a broader commodity basket then just Gold.I personally have imagined using infrastructure as a bank to create money. A bridge doesn't get greedy and if the formulas are correct then it works. also infrastructure can bring money out of being in the form of tolls. The idea has the plus that our infrastructure is old and needs replacing.
